Hiya Megan,
Welcome to planDisney! There is no time as special as the holidays at Walt Disney World Resort. I still remember watching the
Candlelight Processional for the first time and how magical it was (it was Ming-Na Wen as narrator); it is one of my favorite memories, and I cannot wait to celebrate at the Most Magical Place on Earth this year again. The
list of narrators this year is, as always, fantastic! I mean, Captain Marvel is coming this year!!
Like you, Megan, I have been counting down the days until my advanced dining reservation window opens up for my December trip. I've got my wish list ready and my calendar reminder set! You are correct that
Candlelight Processional Dining Packages open up beginning on October 14th, but that doesn't take into account your advanced dining window. I checked with a Cast Member, and they informed me that when reservations open on October 14th, they will be available for Guests who need reservations for November 28th to December 13th. Your opportunity to book will be later in October on the 27th.
I hope this was helpful, Megan. Before I let you go, I'm not sure if you are staying at one of the resort hotels, but did you know that if you are, you can make dining reservations for your entire length of stay (up to 10 days) when dining reservations open up? I love this perk because it helps me get more popular dining reservations that are on my must-try list. If you need anything else, please don't hesitate to come back and see us.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
