I wanted to come visit the theme park later this year around September/Oct but was wondering are ride attractions open as well ??

Welcome to planDisney, Robert! I'm so glad to hear that you're thinking about visiting Walt Disney World Resort this fall. It's one of my favorite times of the year to visit because the weather is gorgeous and this year, you'll be able to visit the inaugural Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival! My perfect day consists of strolling around World Showcase visiting the Global Marketplaces to test all of the international dishes. This year marks the debut of a brand new version of the Festival, so I'm excited that you get to be one of the first guests to visit!

Robert, I'm so glad to be able to tell you that most of the attractions at all four of the theme parks are currently up and running with some enhanced safety measures like physical distancing and frequent sanitation. You can check out this list to see what's currently available, what's under refurbishment, and what's been temporarily closed for the time being. I think you'll find that most of the classics you've been looking forward to, like "it's a small world" and Haunted Mansion, as well as some new favorites like Avatar - Flight of Passage and Star Wars - Rise of the Resistance, are there waiting for you to ride them!

If you're planning on visiting Walt Disney World Resort this fall keep in mind that valid admission, as well as a Disney Park Pass reservation, is required in order to enter the theme parks at this time. You can use the Disney Park Pass reservation system to set up your plans and choose where you'd like to visit on each day of your trip. Your reservation is valid for an entire day at one theme park, so be sure to look at that list of attractions when you're planning out where you want to go and what you want to do when you're there!

    Have a magical day, Robert!
