If I wanted to uber off site to eat at a restaurant off site, are there any issues with having the driver come into the park, and are there any times when we could not get back into the park if we return close to midnight.

BOO to you, Larry! The happy haunts of planDisney are pleased to welcome you!

It's nearly Halloween weekend, and that means your spook-tacular Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just about to start! I hope you're ready to "fall" for the autumnal colors and pumpkin-y fun!

And if your adventure takes you out into the wilds beyond the Walt Disney World Resort, never fear. Drivers from ride share services like Uber and Lyft are allowed to enter theme park and Resort hotel parking lots to pick up Guests who have scheduled a ride. To meet your driver at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, just wait outside the main lobby for the car to pull up. At the Magic Kingdom Park, you'll need to meet your driver at the drop-off and pick-up location at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC), which you can access by ferryboat or monorail from the park entrance. The pick-up location is not far from where the charter buses stage to serve their passengers. You can ask the nearest Cast Member at the TTC exactly where to go. To catch your ride from any of the other theme parks, the pick-up and drop-off areas are closer to the park entrances. Again, a Cast Member can direct you to the exact location.

When returning to Walt Disney World after your evening out, your driver can drop you off pretty much wherever you need to go. If you're staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, the driver will simply let the Cast Member at the Resort hotel entrance know that they're dropping off a Guest (the Cast Member may ask for your MagicBand or Key to the World Card as verification, so make sure you have it with you). If you're going back to a car you've left in a theme park parking lot, the driver should be able to access the lot, but I'd double check with a Cast Member before you head out just to be on the safe side.

It sounds like your plans are coming along fiendishly, Larry! Thank you so much for haunting our halls here at planDisney, and I hope you have a frightfully fun Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
