I wanted to get tutus for the kids and us two mom's also to wear at Disneyland. They would be poofy, tulle strip tutus but can we wear them at the park? I know costumes are a big no no for adults but these are not costumes.

    Hello there, Tammy!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thanks so much for stopping by with your question about the Disneyland Resort. I hope you’re getting excited for your visit to the theme parks!

I think matching skirts for the kids and moms will be such a wonderful way to add a little extra magic to your visit! In fact, many Guests show their love of Disney by “Disneybounding,” a term coined in recent years that means dressing in an outfit inspired by a favorite character or film without actually being in costume. I happen to have an ice blue and white tutu with snowflakes that is reminiscent of a certain Disney Princess! It sounds like the skirts you have planned would be perfectly fine and within the theme park rules if they’re worn as more of an accessory than part of a full costume. Don't forget to capture some fun photos with a Disney PhtotoPass photographer!

I hope this answers your question, Tammy, and that your family enjoys a perfectly pixie-dusted vacation at the Happiest Place on Earth. Please visit us again with any other planning questions you can dream of as your trip approaches!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
