Walt Disney World Property Rules do not mention anything specific about phones attached to lanyards. Typically, when you board an attraction, you are expected to stow all items, including cell phones. I think this specific situation would be up to the Cast Members working at those attractions on the day of your visit.
Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run is a dream come true for any Star Wars fan and a lot of fun even if you aren't familiar with the franchise! It's bumpy enough to require a seatbelt, but there are no serious drops. Each guest plays an important role in the story, so be sure to listen to your instructions. I am a terrible pilot, so I try to stick with gunner or engineer. Since the experience is dependent upon the actions of the guests, this attraction is worth riding more than once!
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge has so much more!
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is a state-of-the-art attraction with sets and effects like no other! It is immersive and thrilling, but a relatively smooth ride with one exception. There is a short vertical drop that can take you by surprise, so it's a good idea to have everything put away by that point in the experience.
If you need a bite to eat while you're in
Disney's Hollywood Studios, I must recommend my favorite snack in all of Walt Disney World. It's the Bouncin' Mini Churros from
Ice Cold Hydraulics. You'll find them near the entrance to Galaxy's Edge, near the area that will eventually be
Monstropolis.
