Welcome to planDisney, Ratnamani!
It's not long now until you're off to Neverland! Remember: it's the second star to the right and straight on 'til morning. Now is the time to think happy thoughts.
The World's Most Magical Celebration is well underway and there's so much EARidescent excitement to enjoy.
The only thing left to do is purchase those
tickets and make those
theme park reservations. I've just had a look at the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar and Magic Kingdom Park is currently unavailable for June 18, I'm afraid. The summer months are very busy at Walt Disney World and Magic Kingdom is often the first park that reaches capacity due to its popularity. However, all is not lost! You could purchase the
Park Hopper Option with your ticket. This will allow you to hop to Magic Kingdom Park after 2:00 PM on the day of your visit. This way your friend will still be able to see Cinderella Castle in all its EARidescant splendor.
As I type these words, there is still availability for Disney’s Animal Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. If I were you, I'd purchase your ticket with the Park Hopper Option and make a theme park reservation at one of those parks. You and your friend can then enjoy two parks in one day!
If you'd like my recommendation, I'd consider visiting
EPCOT in the morning. There are some fantastic attractions there, like
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind,
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure,
Soarin' Around the World,
Test Track, and
Frozen Ever After. You can then grab lunch at
Connections Eatery (tip: get the General Tso Chicken Salad and then splurge with a Liege Waffle). You can then take the
Monorail over to Magic Kingdom Park from EPCOT. Sounds like a magical plan!
I'm sure you'll have the BEST. DAY. EVER. Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Ratnamani.
