Seasons Greetings, Karen!
Welcome back to planDisney! Thank you so much for coming back to ask a very important planning question.
We are halfway to the most wonderful time of the year at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will put you in the holiday spirit. I am so excited to see the return of this marvelous event. You will be able to see your favorite Disney characters in
Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. Also returning to Cinderella Castle is
Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration, a live stage show with some festive holiday songs featuring Mickey and his friends. You will not want to miss
Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show. This show will keep your spirit merry and bright and is hosted by the icon herself, Minnie Mouse.
Besides the entertainment, you will be able to explore the holiday editions of some of your favorite rides and attractions as they will be sprinkled with some extra holiday magic. Soak it all in as you enjoy some delicious cookies and hot cocoa.
I am just as excited as you are to hear that tickets for this wonderful event will go on sale to Guests of select Walt Disney World Resort Hotels starting on June 30th. All other Guests may begin to purchase tickets on July 7th. Typically,
tickets can be purchased online as early as 6:00 AM, just like all other specialty experiences.
Be sure to have your confirmed hotel reservations linked in your My Disney Experience account to allow you to purchase your tickets on June 30th. Remember, Guests with tickets to this event will not need a Park Pass Reservation for the event. Ticket holders can enter the Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 PM.
Do not forget to take advantage of the special Character greetings during this celebration. There are also some cool new Memory Maker effects and backdrops available as well. As of today, there are 183 shopping days left until Christmas, so be sure to check out the exclusive merchandise on sale for party Guests only.
Happy Holidays,
Andrea
