Hey there Katrina! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your great planning question!
How exciting that your trip to the "Happiest Place on Earth" is coming up so soon, I'm happy to help you get on the right track for your upcoming visit.
Disability Access Service (DAS) is intended to accommodate Guests who, due to a developmental disability such as autism or similar, are unable to wait in a conventional queue for an extended period of time.
DAS will not allow Guests to go to the front of the queue, but Guests will be able to request a return time for an attraction for a specific experience that is comparable to the current standby wait.
It is recommended to start a conversation with a Cast Member via a live chat beginning up to 60 days prior to your arrival to the Disneyland Resort. The individual who may need DAS must be present during the video chat. Live video chat is available from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Pacific Time, and when you're ready, you can click
"Request Live Video Chat" on the DAS page to be connected with a Cast Member.
You also are able to speak with a Cast Member on-site at the Disneyland Resort at the
Accessibility Services Kiosk. The kiosk is located on the east side of the Esplanade near the entrance to Disney California Adventure Park. The kiosk is open about an hour before the theme parks open, and remains open until approximately three hours before the parks are set to close. The
Disneyland app will be a great resource for park hours as well!
I hope this information helps answer your question, Katrina! Please
come back to planDisney if we can help with any other questions.
Have a magical day!
Melissa
