    I wanted to surprise my boyfriend for Christmas to build his own light saber at galaxys edge. If I purchased the standard Disney Gift Card will he be able to use it there ?

    I had the pleasure of visiting Savi's Workshop in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disney's Hollywood Studios, and I can attest it is everything a fan of Star Wars can only dream of! :-)

    I was incredibly impressed by the huge variety of customizable lightsabers one can choose from. He will be thoroughly geeked with this. In addition, the actual workshop is a marvel unto itself. Disney really took its time going over every finite detail to make Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge feel as if you are truly in your favorite Star Wars movie.

    In reference to your question: Yes! The Cast Members at Savi's Workshop will indeed accept Disney Gift Cards to make the lightsaber purchase, or any other item you wish to purchase inside the workshop.
