It sounds like you are well on your way to the magic at the Happiest Place on Earth in just a few weeks! We're so happy you stopped by planDisney to make sure you have all your Disneyland ducks in a row ahead of your trip.
From reading your question, it seems to me like you are a planning pro yourself! You should be all set for your family to head through those Main Entrance Gates. If you want to double-check that everything is linked correctly, head into the
Disneyland App and tap the three-line icon in the bottom right-hand corner. Scroll down to select "
MagicBand+". Here, you should see any bands currently linked to your account. When you tap into an individual band, scroll to the "Admission" section to ensure that it is assigned to the correct ticket. In this section, you can also double-check that the Bluetooth is connected, the MagicBand+ software is all up to date, and my kids like to change the "Light Up Theme" for fun!
If you are holding all the tickets in your account, you may encourage your family to set up their own Disneyland accounts, download the app, and log in with their own information. You can link the tickets to their accounts as well, which would give them the freedom to make their own plans if they split off from the group for a time. All they would need to do is tap the three-line icon in the bottom right-hand corner and select "My Tickets & Passes" followed by the "+" in the top right-hand corner to "Link Tickets & Passes". If you are physically in the same space, you can choose "Tap" and tap the MagicBand+ to the phone, and it will magically appear in their account. Alternatively, you can pull up the tickets on your end and have them scan the barcode with the "Camera" option. If you are not in the same place, simply share the ticket ID numbers found underneath the barcodes and they will select "Type ID" to enter them manually. Since it is just the three of you, I'd recommend that you each link to each other. In other words, your mom and brother would also link to each other. That being said, my husband is just along for the ride on our Disney vacations and is perfectly happy for me to hold all the information in my account and make all the plans. If that's your family too, no need for linking!

While I love planning our visits, sometimes I like to leave room for a little spontaneity! A feature of the app that I love to take advantage of is the "
Mobile Dine Walk-Up Availability", which allows you to see if any restaurants have last-minute openings. When you are in the park, open the app and tap the "+" along the bottom navigation bar followed by "Check Dining Availability". Once you select your party size, a button will pop up on the bottom that says "Join a Walk-up List". From here, you can see if any nearby restaurants have tables to offer. You never know what you may find!
