Hello, Sierra! I love answering Guests' questions about
Disney dining. So it is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure to welcome you tonight. Now, we invite you to relax, let us pull up a chair as the dining room proudly presents...your answer!
It's a tale as old as time, wanting to dine with some royalty in a truly regal setting...with both unique and familiar eats. And while here, you won't meet Prince Charming, even if you're reading chapter three of one of Belle's fantasy books, but you
will get to chat with some magical Princesses. When I dined here, I was able to hang out with Aurora, Belle, Ariel, and Tiana...but you never know exactly who will show up. And
the food? Filling and delicious.
At the time of writing this answer, I am finding availability for a bunch of dates for breakfast at
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall from mid to late December. Of course, it all depends on exactly when you're looking to dine and how many people for whom you're making the
reservation. If you're not finding the exact dates that you're looking for, I would recommend checking back often leading up to your visit to see if any other reservations open up for you as other Guests adjust their plans. In my experience, breakfast fills up quicker at this restaurant than other meal times.
Sometimes, especially with very popular restaurants, tables for large groups fill up quickly. So, if you happen to be making a reservation for a larger group, you may want to see if reservations for two smaller groups are easier to find. For example, instead of looking for a table for 8, have two different members of your party each book a table of 4 at or around the same time. Just note that while you can request to have the tables combined when you check in at the restaurant (do this in person, not in the
My Disney Experience mobile app), there is no guarantee that you will be seated together. So, just have an idea in mind of who would sit at each table beforehand if the tables must be kept separate.
Sierra, my fingers are crossed that Gaston or any other
Disney Villain doesn't get in the way of you experiencing breakfast at this charming restaurant. I highly recommend keeping the
Disney Princess theme going after you've finished your meal by visiting
Elsa and Anna at Royal Sommerhus and Elsa's Ice Palace on
Frozen Ever After, both also in the Norway Pavilion!
If you have any other questions,
I'm here to find the answers for you!
Here's to an adventure in the great wide somewhere,
Matt
