Hi! I was wanted to send my Christmas cards out while at WDW. Is there a place that will postmark the cards with something Disney related? Thanks!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jenna! I mailed some postcards to my USCG brother, who is stationed in Alaska the last time I was at the parks. He was very glad to get magic mail from the Most Magical Place on Earth! I’m sure it made him remember our trip together in 2016.

If you’d like a postmark from Magic Kingdom, there’s a roundabout way to do it! Simply dropping your stamped and return addressed envelopes in the Main Street, U.S.A. mailboxes will simply garner an Orlando or Lake Buena Vista postmark, so you’ll have to visit City Hall in Magic Kingdom. There, a Cast Member can rubber stamp your card with a Magic Kingdom Postmark to add to the regular USPS postmark your card will earn when it arrives in an Orlando post office. The mail is picked up from the mailboxes a few times a day! If you send scads of cards, be wary that they may only stamp a handful of them, so choose your closest family and friends (or those mega Disney nerds, like me!) to receive magical mail.

If you forget your stamps, you can always purchase them at the newsstand or the Emporium; that’s where I like to grab my postcards to mail to friends, too! Please let me know if you have any more questions about your upcoming vacation, and may the magic follow you home! ~ Lindsey P.
