If I wanted to send a care package to myself at the Wilderness Lodge and I am getting there on Saturday, September 17, when do you think I should send it or how do i address the package? I'm assuming UPS delivers right to the Lodge? Thanks.

    Hi Lance,

I like the way you think! Guests are welcome to ship packages to hold for their arrival. I do this almost every time I stay at a Disney Resort. Its one less thing for me to have to remember to pack and risk sending my luggage into the excessive weight category when I fly down.

Here is how you should address the package:

    Disney's Wilderness Lodge
    901 Timberline Drive
    Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830

Please hold for Guest (your name here)
Guest Arriving on (arrival date here)

If I am checking in on a Saturday, I usually ship my package on Tuesday just to be sure it is enough time to arrive before I do. When you check in, mention that you should have a package - they usually have it waiting at Check-In for you. If not, they will deliver it to your room shortly.

I've shipped packages via UPS and with the U.S. Postal Service and never had any problems.  I don't think you'll have any problems with any reliable carriers.

I often take labels with me ready to ship packages back home in the same box at the end of my trip. I usually have a "few" extra souvenEARs that won't fit in my suitcase.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
