Bright Suns, Mattie,
Our Resistance Forces on Batuu welcome new allies who are committed to the Cause. As you have noted, each builder is allowed one Guest. Given the limited space and the increasing presence of intergalactic visitors, the Gatherers at
Savi's Workshop may have to strictly follow that policy. You can certainly inquire when you arrive but be prepared to have your boyfriend remain outside with your son while you build.
As you continue to plan, I hope you have also considered building a droid at
Droid Depot. Our young Jedi loved this experience and we were able to ship our droids home. The droid build was more complex than I anticipated, so keep that in mind if you want to have your son participate. Our girls are 14-years old and were able to follow the instructions but one has some hearing challenges so I had to repeat instructions a few times.
If you have not done so already, make an
advanced dining reservation for
Oga's Cantina. We love to drop in, get a tasty beverage, and catch up with other Resistance allies. The energy in Oga's is quite lovely but be careful. On one visit, an operative from the First Order entered and demanded information. We all steadfastly remained silent. It was a tense moment but we celebrated once we prevailed!
As you plan your visit to Batuu, remember to practice your flying skills on
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and enter the virtual queue for
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Secure your transport to Batuu and stay focused. The First Order is unpredictable.
Mattie, may the Force be with you as you plan!
Good journey,
Donyell
