If we wanted to "rope drop" a popular ride during EE (i.e. Kilmanjaro in Epcot, Mine Train in MK, & Remy's in Epcot), but we will have our double stroller with us, will we miss out on our place in line when we have to first park it?

    Hi Courtney,

Welcome to planDisney! Traveling with little ones often takes a bit of extra planning, so I’m thrilled you’ve asked about strollers. As a mom of four, I’ve learned that exploring the Walt Disney World theme parks with strollers in tow calls for a unique strategy—but with the right tips, it can be a seamless experience for the whole family!

The first thing you’ll notice at the theme parks is the designated stroller parking areas, conveniently located throughout the parks. These areas are either right next to attractions or just a few steps away in clearly marked zones. Cast Members frequently patrol these areas to keep them organized, often adjusting stroller placements to maximize space as Guests pick up or drop off their strollers. Don’t worry if your stroller isn’t exactly where you left it - it will still be in the same general area, just a few spaces over.

Some attractions with longer queues, such as Kilimanjaro Safaris at Animal Kingdom, feature stroller parking areas built directly into the queue. A Cast Member at the entrance will let you know if you can bring your stroller along, and about halfway through, another Cast Member will assist with stroller parking. For most attractions such as Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, stroller parking is conveniently located just outside the ride entrance.

Parking your stroller during theme park Early Theme Park Entry Hours shouldn’t cost you much time, even when heading to popular attractions. My husband and I found it helpful to pack our stroller strategically, keeping valuables in a separate backpack that we could easily grab and bring with us. While one of us walked to the queue with the kids, the other quickly parked the stroller and joined us at the start of the line, ensuring we could enter the attraction together without delay.

Since you are travelling with little ones, you may find yourselves visiting a Baby Care Center. Disney World Baby Care Centers are an incredible resource for families traveling with little ones, offering a calm and comfortable space to care for your child’s needs. Located in each of the four theme parks, these centers are equipped with amenities like private nursing rooms, changing tables, and highchairs. You’ll also find microwaves, sinks, and even a small shop where you can purchase baby essentials such as diapers, wipes, and baby food. My family has used Baby Care Centers in all of the theme parks and the little shop sure has come handy in a pinch!

Courtney, I hope this information is helpful to your vacation planning. I hope you have a wonderful trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth! If you have any other vacation planning questions, please let me know - I'd love to help! Thanks again for visiting planDisney.
