If I just wanted to ride Tron, visit Star Wars and see the parade - what would be the best ticket for me to purchase? (I'm keen to avoid queueing)

Hey there, Gary! Welcome to planDisney - I'm so excited to help you plan your upcoming trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth! You've got some pretty amazing plans in place, and I would love to swing by and help you make all your dreams come true - just like Tarzan!

TRON Lightcycle / Run and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance are two of my top three favorite attractions, along with Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, so I totally understand why you're eager to ride them both. And adding the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade to the mix is the cherry on top of a perfect day! To do all of this in one day, you'll need a Theme Park ticket with the Park Hopper Option, which lets you visit more than one theme park per day. You can add the Park Hopper option to any number of days you want to purchase tickets for, even just one.

Now, to ride TRON Lightcycle / Run, you have two options: join the Virtual Queue or purchase an Individual Lightning Lane entry. There are two opportunities to request to join the virtual queue for TRON Lightcycle / Run each day: 7:00 AM (you don't need to be in Magic Kingdom to join) and 1:00 PM (you must be inside the Magic Kingdom park to join). For the Individual Lightning Lane entry, Guests of a Disney Resort hotel can make their first purchase at 7:00 AM on the day of their park visit. All other Guests can make their first purchase when the park opens. Be sure to jump on your My Disney Experience app at the exact time the selections open, as both options tend to sell out fast!

For Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, you can join the regular queue or purchase an Individual Lightning Lane entry following the same rules as TRON Lightcycle / Run. In my experience, the waiting times can be up to 240 minutes for this highly sought-after attraction, so I always purchase the Lightning Lane myself to enjoy more time exploring Batuu and the Black Spire Outpost.

My recommendation is to start your day at Disney's Hollywood Studios and ride Star Wars in the morning. Then, hop on a complimentary bus to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa or Disney's Contemporary Resort and take a walk or catch the monorail to Magic Kingdom. There, you can watch the parade and ride TRON. For an extra special experience, try to ride TRON at night - it's a whole different ballgame!

I hope this helps you plan your day, Gary! If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to ask - I'm always here and ready to help a friend like you!
