hello, i wanted to make a reservation for the fantasmic dining experience because my husband wants to see the show but i was wondering, do you watch the show while you eat or dose it just give you a reservated seat for the show elsewhere? thanks in advance

    Hi Katrina!

I'm a huge fan of the Fantasmic! Dinner Package!

To answer your question, the package is basically made up of two parts: (1) the dining experience; and (2) reserved seats for the Fantasmic! peformance. Unfortunately, you do not watch the performance while you dine. (That would be way cool though!)

I've opted for this package a number of times and I've either chosen The Hollywood Brown Derby or Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano as the places where we enjoyed our dinner. At the end of dinner, we were given tickets to enter the VIP section of the amphitheater where Fantasmic! is performed. While the VIP section is not front and center, I actually prefer the vantage point it offers (from the right-side of the amphitheater, about two-thirds of the way up).

In addition to getting an awesome meal and the VIP seating, the convenience aspect of the package is a huge plus in my book. Since Fantasmic! is such a popular performance, it's recommended that guests plan to line up at least an hour before the show. With the VIP tickets, I usually plan to arrive around 20-30 minutes before the start of the show. (You know what they say...time is money!)

Here's a little tip from your buddy Derek:

Depending on the night, the cast members may use an overflow exit for the guests upon the conclusion the Fantasmic! performance. This exit is near the VIP seating section and will give you a huge jump-start on the rest of the crowds that will be making a beeline for the bus stops and the parking lot. Just another perk of the Fantasmic! Dinner Package!

I hope that helps! If you should have any other questions, please feel free to write back and I'll be happy to help in any way that I can.

    Best regards,
    Derek
