Hi Sharon,
Welcome to planDisney! I am excited to learn that you are planning a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort!
As excited as I am, I am also concerned given your anticipated arrival date. First things first, let's check the
theme park reservation availability calendar to make sure there are
Disney Park Pass system reservations available for the dates of your visit. At the moment, there is theme park pass availability at all four theme parks for the week of your arrival but availability could change at any moment. I also recommend purchasing at least four-day park tickets so that you can see all four theme parks!
My suggestion is that you book a
vacation package immediately, or, at the very least, purchase theme park tickets. Once you book that vacation package or
theme park tickets, be sure to
link those to your
My Disney Experience account so that you can make Disney Park Pass system reservations as soon as possible.
I also have to strongly recommend making
advanced dining reservations. Given the crowds in the parks and the summer temperatures, you will want to have scheduled dining reservations to get a good break at various points in the day. If you only rely on
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering, you may have fewer air-conditioned dining breaks.
If you have not done so already, download the
My Disney Experience Mobile App so that you can access all of the digital tools. In addition to Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering, you can use
Mobile Dine Check-in and check
Mobile Dine Walk-up Availability. With Mobile Dine Check-in, you can check-in for your advanced dining reservations using the mobile app and, with Mobile Dine Walk-up Availability, you can check to see if there is dining availability at certain restaurants while you are in the theme parks and resorts. Also know that you can book dining reservations at restaurants in resort hotels. We love to do this so that we can see other resorts!
Sharon, we are so excited to welcome you to the magic! Get those reservations confirmed!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
