Hi Lily!
From one Florida resident to another, welcome to planDisney! One of my favorite things about being a Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder is that I can step into the magic all year long. And no matter how many times you visit, there is no shortage of pixie dust.
Speaking of that plentiful magic, the
Pixie Dust Pass is only available to Florida residents at the time. You'll need to provide proof of residency online or at Guest Relations at the resort. Have a government-issued ID with a Florida address or one of the
other items listed on the Proof of Residency FAQ page ready to go. There are so many perks to having an annual pass, including access to the theme parks on most weekdays (subject to
blockout dates and
theme park availability), standard theme park parking, and discounts on select food and merchandise around the resort.
"Just think happy thoughts" like our beloved
Peter Pan, and hopefully, we'll see the other annual passes return soon. I recommend keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for all Disney Parks announcements and news.
I confirmed with a Disney Cast Member that if the other passes return, you will indeed be able to upgrade your Pixie Dust Pass. Even if the passes return outside of your
renewal window (60 days prior and 30 days after expiration), you will be able to do so by visiting a theme park ticket window, speaking to Guest Relations at the theme parks or at Disney Springs, or calling the Annual Passholders hotline. Woohoo!
Lily, if you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to
revisit us here at planDisney! I'm all ears!
Magic always,
LeAndra
