Hello, Mary!
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for stopping by with your question regarding
Disney’s Disability Access Service. This service, also known as DAS, was created for Guests to Disney Parks who cannot tolerate an extended wait in a traditional attraction queue. It is not a skip the line privilege, but it does allow you to return after a comparable wait time to the current Standby line.
You can
pre-register for DAS online in a virtual chat with a Cast Member. If your daughter is under 18, you can complete the process, but she will need to be present. Pre-registration can be completed as early as 30 days before your first park visit and as late as 2 days before you arrive. You will want to make sure that everyone in your party already has a valid theme park ticket and
park pass reservations linked to their My Disney Experience accounts. Live chat is available from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Wait times to chat with a Cast Member have been lengthy, I recommend signing in and beginning your chat as close to 7:00 AM as possible.
Once your pre-registration is complete, a Cast Member will work with you to book 2 one-hour return times for a select list of attractions using a new service called
DAS Advanced planning. This will accommodate your daughter and up to 5 guests in your party can join her on the ride. Your selections will appear in
My Disney Experience as plans. Once you arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort, you can also use the Same-Day DAS Return Time Self-Selection tool to choose other experiences as your day goes on. This tool can be accessed in the My Disney Experience app by tapping the
More button in the lower right corner of the screen and then selecting the
Disability Access Service (DAS) button and following the prompts to select a new experience.
If you are unable to complete the pre-registration process, you can register in person with a Cast Member at Guest Relations of any Theme Park. Once approved you will be able to use the
Same-Day DAS Return Time Self-Selection tool to schedule a DAS return time for a ride or attraction with your party. You will be able to make your next request after you have redeemed your current selection. If you do not have access to a mobile device, a Cast Member on the Guest Experience Team can reserve your next experience for you. To redeem an experience at your scheduled return time, enter the Lightning Lane entrance and touch your
MagicBand, card, or Disney MagicMobile pass to the touchpoint.
If you have any questions regarding this process, you can reach out to the Disability Services Team at (407) 560-2547 or by email at disability.services@disneyparks.com.
In the meantime, if you have any more questions regarding special activities for the
50th Anniversary Celebration, please come back and visit us.
See ya real soon,
