Hi, i wanted to know if there's an outlet level 1 or regular outlet for my electric car at Disney's All Star Music Resort. I know the Charge point station at others locations. Thanks Philippe

    Bonjour Philippe,

Welcome to planDisney, and thank you very much for asking us a question, my fellow Quebecker!

I’m thrilled to see that Walt Disney World Resort is offering Electric Vehicle Charging Stations at its Theme Parks and, more importantly, in the parking lots at some Disney Resorts Collection hotels. Although these charge ports are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, it seems as though every visit I do see more and more ports at existing locations AND new locations added to our charging options.

From what I understand, as of today, it unfortunately doesn’t seem as though Disney’s All Star Music Resort has an Electric Vehicle Charging Station in its parking lot. I checked to see whether any of the other All Star Resorts had one and, unfortunately, they don’t seem to, either. Your closest charging option would likely be Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, which has 6 spaces available to use. You can also ask your hotel’s Lobby Concierge whether there are any additional charging options available to you when you check in for your stay.

You may be aware that these are all ChargePoint charging stations, so I recommend that you download that app prior to your visit to Walt Disney World Resort. That way, not only will you be able to see what your options are, but you’ll also see how many stations are currently in use. Two potential options would be to drive your car to a Theme Park parking lot that has available charging stations and to charge it while you’re enjoying the Parks or to drive your car to a Disney resort hotel that does have charging stations (such as Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort), tell the gate attendant that you need to charge your vehicle and ask whether it would be possible to park there for the day in order to do so. Depending on how busy the Resort is that day, you may be able to park there, charge your vehicle and then hop on Disney Bus Transportation to start your Disney Day!

I hope my answer helps you plan a thoroughly “charged” vacation! Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions. Et n’oubliez pas que vous pouvez également nous poser des questions en français!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
