The countdown is on to the Merriest Season of All! I just love the holidays and there's simply no place more magical to celebrate them than Disneyland Resort! It sounds like you already understand the basic structure of the
1-Day Theme Park tickets, which have a corresponding Tier depending on the date you plan to use them. Your original Tier 1 ticket likely has a set of blockout dates that might otherwise prevent you from being able to visit the Disneyland Resort Theme Parks during certain high-demand dates, like the holiday season. For this reason, I do recommend that you consider
upgrading your wholly-unused ticket to the Tier that corresponds with your new intended visit date - which sounds like you've already determined to be a Tier 6 Ticket. To do this, you can call Guest Services to speak with a Cast Member using the
Tickets line before your visit. I recommend that you have your email confirmation on hand to refer to when you call.
Alternatively, you can also request a ticket upgrade when you arrive on-site at the main entrance ticket booths, but your new
tickets and park reservations are subject to availability, so I would still recommend doing this by phone in advance of your arrival date.
