Hello, I wanted to know if my son, who is 4.5 years old, 40 inches tall, and weighs 45lbs, is he too young/small to ride the Tower of Terror?

    Hi Earl:

I think I have good news for your son.  The safety restrictions for riding Tower of Terror are based on height, not age.  Guests must be 40 inches or taller to ride Tower of Terror.  The full list of Tower of Terror restrictions and policies are listed here.

Tower of Terror is a thrill ride with an eerie atmosphere, screaming guests, and a number of unexpected and sudden free-falls.  Since your son is tall enough to ride, you really have to know him well to decide if the ride is appropriate for him.

    Enjoy the ride.
