Hey there, Joselin. Thanks for taking the time to visit planDisney with your question for us.
With the huge popularity of Guests wishing to
return to the land of Magic as soon as possible, we are encountering high volume of questions. We greatly appreciate your patience. I’m glad to see you’re planning on visiting
World of Disney in
Downtown Disney District. We love the wide selections of Disney merchandise available to purchase, including items found throughout the
Disneyland Resort theme parks. On our recent trip to the Disneyland Resort, my kids gravitated towards the Disney nuiMOs and fell in love with them! We ended up bringing Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Stitch home, along with several sets of outfits.
To
shop at World of Disney, you do not need a shopping reservation in order to enter. During busier times, however, Disneyland Resort may utilize a mobile waitlist system to manage the number of Guests when the retail location is at capacity. This happened for us when we visited
Star Wars Trading Post during our recent trip.
When World of Disney is at capacity, you’ll be able to join the mobile waitlist by scanning a QR code that is found near the entrance. If you need assistance with this, or unable to join using the QR code, you can provide your name and phone number to Cast Members by the entrance. When it’s time for your shopping experience, you’ll receive a text message. In the meantime, there are so many other shops and dining locations to check out while you pass the time.
If you have additional questions, Joselin, please don’t hesitate to visit us on
planDisney again!
See ya real soon,
Kiki
