Hi Traci! Welcome to planDisney!
There is a ton that goes into planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Airfare, transportation, resort accommodations,
park tickets,
park reservations, the list goes on and on. There are many helpful resources on the
Walt Disney World website to do research about your stay. You will find all recreation and amenities that are offered at the resorts. You can also view all of the menus for each dining location to help make some decisions on where you plan to eat. If your family is anything like mine, finding meals your children will eat can feel like participating in your own scavenger hunt! With the addition of the park reservation system and
Disney Genie+, even the more seasoned park-goers are still getting used to the new changes.
I recommend considering using an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner to assist in booking your stay. They are highly trained individuals that can help book your entire visit, including your airfare. They will be able to provide cost comparisons for different
Disney Resort hotel options, which will vary in cost depending on the type of hotel you plan on staying at. To find a vacation planner, simply head over to Google and perform a search. There will be a ton of planners that pop up and I recommend doing some research to determine which one will be best for your specific needs. The best part about using an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner is there is no extra cost to do so. You will pay the same amount for your vacation as if you booked it yourself!
You can always book your stay on the Walt Disney World website or by
calling and speaking to a Cast Member. By using either of these options, you can reserve your resort accommodations, park tickets, and any add-ons such as Disney Genie+. You will however need to book your flight and airport transportation separately, as Disney does not offer these in their packages.
Traci, I hope you have a magical summer vacation! Stop back at planDisney anytime!
See ya real soon!
