Hi, I wanted to know if I needed to make a reservation for each table service dinner while in Disney? I will be purchasing the dining plan and I didn't know if I needed to call for reservations as soon as I purchased the plan.

Hi Danielle!  Disney has some great Dining Plans in place for 2012 and so glad to hear you will be booking one for your trip.

Yes, please start your planning now and be prepared to book your dining reservations.  You can book 180 days in advance of your arrival date and for ten days of your vacation.  You can either book on line, http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/reservations/dining/  or by calling the Disney Dining number at 407-939-3463.

I like to book on line when possible as it allows me to view my dining reservation history and I can easily cancel if we need to change plans as it gets closer to the date.  When using the on line system please simply make your reservations by using the "I want to use my dining plan to book reservations" link in the search module on the Dining Overview page.  Please note that for some dining reservations you might still need to put a credit card down to secure the reservation but at the time of the dining you will be using the credits if you have them available in your plan instead.

Enjoy all the dining and magic of Walt Disney World!
