Hi, I wanted to know if you need proof of Negative test for children under the age of 12. If so, does a rapid test (Abbot BinaxNOW) comply with the requirements? Thanks Joy

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Joy Kathleen!

Welcome to planDisney! We are DELIGHTED you stopped by, and we are so excited to answer your question and help you plan your upcoming trip to the Disneyland Resort! Thank YOU for allowing us to be a part of your PLANNING TEAM! We are honored and privileged to serve you in this way.

What a great question! I can tell you that Mickey Mouse and his pals have been working really hard on making sure every Guest is as safe as possible when they visit the HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH. I can assure you that this is their primary goal! As you plan, I want to let you know that all Guests, regardless of their age, are highly encouraged to have a negative COVID-19 test before entering any of the Disneyland Theme Parks. However, a negative COVID-19 test is not required at this time. Face coverings will be required in all indoor buildings and attractions, regardless of vaccination status. Face coverings are optional while outdoors all throughout the Disneyland Resort.

I hope this information helps you in your planning! As you know, exciting announcements are being made all of the time at the Disneyland Resort! That is why I highly recommend you follow Disneyland on all of its social media channels, and be sure to subscribe to The Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date Disney information.

If you have other questions, please do not hesitate to ask! We are here to help in any way!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
