Hello! Wanted to know if Mickeys Christmas party could be on the same day as early magic hours at Magic Kingdom? Or could one night be the Christmas Oarty and then the next morning Magic Kingdom holds their early Magic Hours?

Hi Lauren! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I was so excited to see your question because it means that you are not only planning a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort, but you are also planning to visit during my favorite time of year - Christmas! You will love seeing Magic Kingdom Park all dressed up for the holidays. It is simply magical!

I attended Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party twice last year (yes, I do love it that much!). One of the days I attended had Extra Magic Hours from 7 a.m.-8 a.m. that morning, with the party from 7 p.m.-12 a.m. that night. The other day I attended, there weren't any Extra Magic Hours at Magic Kingdom Park that day. Each day varies, but there is definitely a possibility of having Extra Magic Hours the same day that you experience Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, or that there would be Extra Magic Hours the day after you enjoy the party.

Theme park hours, including Extra Magic Hours get released 180 days in advance, so keep your eyes on the Magic Kingdom Park calendar for those hours to be released. Dates for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party are typically released around April, so watch the Disney Parks Blog for that information.

Enjoy planning your trip, Lauren! Please visit us again with any other questions you may have about visiting during the holiday season!
