Hi, Vanessa!
Thank you for reaching out to planDisney. I am glad you sent another question to us! We have food allergies and meal preferences in our family, and I can understand wanting to find the perfect lunch for embarkation day!
When I sailed on the
Disney Wish, we ate lunch in
1923 on embarkation day. This beautiful restaurant honors the glitz and glam of Old Hollywood, and I loved seeing the animation storyboards adorning the restaurant walls. Some of the appetizer choices during our trip included:
- Sliced Smoked Salmon
- Beef Empanadas with Red Chimichurri
- Mixed Salad with choice of dressing
Kettle offerings included:
- Seafood and Chicken Gumbo with Cornbread
- Leek and Potato Soup with Soda Bread
Entree choices included:
- Pennette Pasta
- Grilled Salmon Salad
- Muffuletta Sandwich
- Chicken Caesar Salad
- Sliced Roasted Beef Sirloin
Dessert offerings included:
- Cookies 'N Cream Cheesecake
- Carrot Cake
- Welcome Aboard Sundae
- Chocolate Marquise Bombe
I have found that Guests with selective food preferences sometimes prefer ordering from the children's menu. Children's selections on our cruise included Mickey's Mac "N" Cheese, Golden Chicken Strips, and Minnie's Mini Burger. Keep in mind that this was my family's experience, and meal offerings and dining locations are subject to change. I suggest looking at the menu on the Navigator app after boarding the ship for an up-to-date menu. Your mom can also share her favorite food choices with your server to see if they have other options to meet her needs.
Vanessa, enjoy this special cruise with your mom! You are creating priceless memories! Please reach out to planDisney again if you have other questions.
Happy sailing!
Jen
