Hi I wanted to know if my husband , our children and I bring our resort mugs into the parks ....can we fill them at water fountains instead of having to carry heavy water bottles? Is the water at the fountains cold? If not can we get ice at certain stands?

    Hi there Elvira,

Thanks for posting your question to the Moms Panel.  I just love answering questions for my fellow residents of the Garden State!

Although your Disney resort mugs are not refillable free of charge in the theme parks, you are more than welcome to carry them into the parks and fill them at the water fountains.  I have found the water at the fountains reasonably cold in most cases.  However, Cast Members at quick service locations will be happy to give you a free cup of ice or ice water if you ask for one.  Then you can dump that cup of ice or ice water directly into your resort mug.  It's a great way to stay cool and hydrated on a hot day.

Hoping you and your family have a fabulous trip to Walt Disney World!

    Jill
