I wanted to know about the FREE Birthday pin. Can you get it if it is your birthday month or does it have to be your exact birthday?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Andrea.

Guests can visit City Hall on Main Street U.S.A. in Disneyland Park or Chamber of Commerce on Buena Vista Street in California Adventure upon entering the park to pick up complimentary celebratory buttons. (Buttons are also available throughout the parks' Guest Relations) There are many different celebration buttons: Just Married, Birthday, Family Reunion, 1st Visit, Happy Anniversary, Happily Ever After, I'm Celebrating and many more! They're so fun to sport while walking through the parks, especially the personalized birthday button. This is one of the many reasons my kids love celebrating their birthdays at the Disneyland Resort, because Cast Members will say "Happy Birthday" to them throughout the day. Some will even give Guests high-fives!

You can request any complimentary button and Cast Members will take your word for it. Once we did a family reunion trip celebrating two birthdays and a graduation, and we each wore different buttons throughout our stay.

I hope this information is helpful for you, Andrea. I wish you and your family an unforgettable trip to the Happiest Place on Earth. If you have further questions, please visit me on the Panel again.

    Sending you Pixie Dusts,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
