    Hello, I just wanted to know if there is a fee to make reservations for the restaurants. We will be heading to WDW in August. Can we make reservations even if we do not buy the dining plans?. If there is a reservation fee, do you know how much it is?

    Hi Brenda!!!

    Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your Disney Vacation Planning!!  I know that you will have an awesome time in August!!!

    None of the Disney Restaurants require a fee to book an Advance Dining Reservation.  Effective October 2011, many restaurants implemented a credit card guarantee with a 24 hour cancellation notice.  There are different cancellation fees for cancelling for under 24 hours for different restaurants.  The cancellation fee with be noted in the Terms and Conditions before you book your reservation.

    Anyone can make an Advance Dining Reservation.  It doesn't matter if you are or aren't on the Disney Dining Plan.  We have made many reservations when not on the dining plan.

    Just a reminder that you can book up to 180 days out from your desired reservation date.   Since you arrive on August 19th, your 180 day point will be coming up very soon (February 21st to be exact).
