I just wanted to know how far out you can purchase/plan a trip. My son graduates in 2025 and he wanted to go to Disney to celebrate.

Hello and welcome to planDisney, Yinessa! I'm glad you dropped by with your question.

Yinessa, as a guest who loves to think, plan, and dream about vacations years (and years) in advance, I appreciate this question. While Walt Disney World can turn a random Tuesday into a Magical experience, there is also no better place to elevate a celebration, like graduation!

Now, Yinessa, this past year guests were able to start booking 2024 packages at the end of May, so if recent history is any indication, I imagine you'll be able to book 2025 packages late spring of next year. Make sure you have the Disney Parks Blog bookmarked and you follow @planDisneypanel on Instagram for updates!

In the meantime, I'll encourage you to begin your unofficial planning by browsing through the different resort options. If it fits your budget, I recommend staying onsite at a Disney Resort Hotel. Not only will you find perks like Early Theme Park Entry and complimentary transportation to and from your resort to the theme parks, but you'll feel like you're surrounded by the Magic of Disney from the time you wake up until your head hits the pillow at night. With so much variety in theming and price points, there is something for every interest and budget. By learning about all of your options in advance, you'll be ready to book the first day packages are released.

If you need any help selecting a resort, have any questions, or would like recommendations, please come on back to planDisney.

    Happy planning,
    Lauren

My husband and I became Disney Vacation Club Members because we love visiting the Disney Parks and with hectic day-to-day schedules, wanted to prioritize time away for our family. The options at the Walt Disney World Resort make each trip unique and I am excited to help other families build vacations with those unforgettable moments.
