Hey there, hi there Debbie!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. It looks like you are planning at least one very special day in Magic Kingdom!
Chef Mickey's and
Cinderella's Royal Table are both such special dining experiences. Our family loves meeting the characters at Chef Mickey's, whether we start our park day there or hop over to
Disney's Contemporary Resort during a break from the park. Dining at Cinderella's Royal Table is another treat where we definitely feel like royalty. I mean, how often do you get the chance to dine in a castle?
Both of these reservations can be made 60 days in advance, or if you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you'll be able to start booking your reservations 60 days prior to your resort check-in day for up to 10 days of your vacation. On the day you book your reservations you'll want to be up bright and early. Typically, reservations become available at 6:00 AM EST, but I like to be on the website by about 5:30 AM just in case things open up early. Keep in mind that both of these restaurants are extremely popular, so you may not be able to book both. It's good to have a few backup options in mind as well. You can always cancel them up to 24 hours in advance if spaces open up at the restaurants where you truly want to dine.
Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White in Disney's Wilderness Lodge is just a short boat ride away. Another option is
Whispering Canyon Cafe at the same resort. It's not a character meal, but it is a really fun dining experience for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. My kids ask to go there on every trip.
Hope this helps. Enjoy planning your visit to
The World's Most Magical Celebration!
