Hi there Maddox, it's great to have you here at planDisney!
There's something that I personally love about being at the theme parks in the fall, especially with a change in weather from the summer sun and the autumnal vibes and perhaps Special Spice that comes with the enticing
Disney Eats across Walt Disney World Resort as the days grow shorter.
You're absolutely right, Magic Kingdom Park is currently scheduled to close to day guests (those not attending the party) at 6:00 P.M. on days when
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party takes place. This remains consistent through
the event dates from August 9 until October 31, though I still highly recommend that you keep an eye on the
Hours & Events calendar on the days that you're aiming for your next visit. Though over half of October is full of party evenings, we can see that the other dates do currently have Park Hours that close at 9:00 P.M. with
Happily Ever After taking place at 8:30 P.M. though these may be subject to change without prior notice.
It's always a great idea to have your
My Disney Experience app handy to refer to to have an idea of the opening hours if you're looking to dodge those party nights at Magic Kingdom Park; however I've also found that standby waits for attractions can often be lower on some days when other folks and families employ a similar strategy and head to the other theme parks instead. With this in mind,
taking advantage of the Park Hopper option can definitely be key to making the most of each day and avoiding any disappointment with reduced hours wherever you end up!
In the meantime, I also recommend
keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for the festive fall happenings as they're announced - don't hesitate to
come back to us here at planDisney Maddox, for more of our personalized tips and tricks ahead of your next visit to any Disney Destination!
Wishing you all the best on your autumn adventures!
