Hi, I wanted to know does Disney’s Animal Kingdom have any ride assistance for pregnant women such as motorized wheelchairs or family bikes that could be used around the park?

    Hi Nadia! Welcome to planDisney!

Your visit to Disney's Animal Kingdom is just around the riverbend, as Pocahontas would say! One of my favorite things about my recent visit to this theme park was the Character Flotillas and Cruises. We got to wave as many familiar Characters floated by, including Pocahontas and her friends. You will want to check them out when you visit!

Wheelchairs and Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECVs or motorized scooters) are available to rent at each of the Walt Disney World theme parks, water parks, and Disney Springs. You can rent them for the entire day and they are available on a first-come, first-served basis. You can also bring your own with you if you already have a wheelchair or ECV that you would like to use instead. You can find pricing information at the link I included above.

When I visited while pregnant, I found the benches located throughout the theme parks a life-saver! It was great to have a lot of spots available to take a quick rest. I always took advantage of the Baby Care Centers. They are air-conditioned areas with seating available that are perfect for taking a moment to recharge!

I hope you have a great visit, Nadia! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
