I wanted to know Which is the Difference between Standard and Preferred room at Disney's All-Star Sports Resorts.

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Jeannette!

Welcome to planDisney! We are DELIGHTED you stopped by and are honored to help you plan your upcoming trip to Disney World! Get ready for a trip packed with MAGIC, laughter, and memories that’ll have you smiling long after you’re back home. Whether you’re racing to rope drop to ride Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT, snacking your way around the parks, or soaking up the Disney atmosphere, you’re in for a championship-level vacation!

Oh, get ready to cheer because you’re headed to All-Star Sports Resort! How exciting is that? This resort is full of energy, color, and fun, celebrating everything from baseball and basketball to surfing and football. It’s like stepping into a larger-than-life sports paradise where even your morning stroll feels like part of the game! Now, when it comes to Standard vs. Preferred rooms, the main difference isn’t about what’s inside the room. Instead, it’s all about the location on the field (or in this case, the resort).

Both room types feature the same sporty décor, comfy beds, and all the enchanting Disney touches you’d expect. However, Preferred Rooms score some extra convenience points! They’re located closer to Stadium Hall, and that is where you’ll find the food court, arcade, gift shop, and bus transportation. So if you’d like to roll out of bed and be just a few steps from your Mickey waffles or the buses to the parks, Preferred might be the winning play.

Standard Rooms, on the other hand, are located a little farther from the main building. They’re great if you want a quieter area and don’t mind a short walk — kind of like a cool-down lap after a day in the parks. The price difference usually reflects the added convenience of proximity. So, whether you go for Standard or Preferred, you’ll still be surrounded by the fun, playful spirit of Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort. I would say that’s always a victory in my playbook!

As you continue to plan, be sure to check out the Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date information on all things Disney. Mickey and his pals have some exciting surprises planned, and we don't want you to miss any of the fun!

If you have other questions, please don't hesitate to ask. We are here to help in any way!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
