Hello. I wanted to know how many days before my reservation can I cancel a ticket I purchased? A family member of mine is not sure they’re coming with us. Thank you

Hello, Karla, and welcome to planDisney. Can you believe that your visit is right around the corner? You all must be getting so excited! I almost feel like a part of me is missing if I don’t at least have a visit planned for. You just can’t keep me away from Disneyland Resort or Walt Disney World Resort

I’m crossing my fingers that your family member can join you all for your visit! You are fine to cancel their Theme Park Reservation at any time, even the evening before your visit. The only thing to consider would be when you can reschedule their visit since Theme Park tickets are nonrefundable. Their ticket will simply stay in your Disney account until the ticket’s expiration date. Hopefully, this is “just in case” and they can make it out to this exciting adventure! If not, wholly unused expired tickets can be used towards the purchase of a new ticket that is greater than or equal to the current purchase price.

Karla, I hope you all have the most magical visit. Please take it all in and enjoy a Mickey-shaped treat for me! If there’s anything else we can help with, don’t hesitate to ask!

    See ya real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Shantel, Alabama

Hi ya Pals! I'm Shantel, an Army wife and mom of two. I grew up going to the parks, and now we're sharing that tradition with our kids. When I am not visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, I'm at home researching and planning for our next trip. One of my favorite things to do is search for new snacks to try, especially if they are Mickey shaped. I'm definitely living the dream my heart wished for! I cannot wait to answer your questions and help make your vacation even more magical!
