I wanted to know is it common to get FPs that are in the same area vs. doing the popular ones first? And if so, how likely is it that I will receive the other FPs once I've used my first three?

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Chardane!

First off, congratulations on your upcoming vacation. April will be here before you know it, so you’re just in time to start thinking about booking your FastPass+ reservations. I mean, who wouldn’t want to skip the standby line for select attractions, shows and Character Greetings?

To answer your question, yes, you can absolutely book FastPass+ reservations that are within the same vicinity. In fact, this is very similar to how my wife and I plan out our vacations. For instance, at Epcot we like to book Spaceship Earth, The Seas with Nemo & Friends, then Soarin’ Around the World if possible. Then once we’ve used those three FastPass+ reservations, we’ll then try our luck to jump on Living with the Land with our additional FastPass+. Then, based on availability, we’ll keep this trend going throughout the entire Theme Park.

Just be sure to download the My Disney Experience mobile app to your phone. It’ll be your go to way for booking additional FastPass+ reservations.
