Wanted to know should I do my character breakfast at the parks then go on rides or do rope drop for all the parks then go to my character breakfast? If rides first which should I do at rope drop, approximately what time should I schedule breakfast?

    Hi Mechelle!

Welcome back, and thank you for the direct question! Your arrival date is coming up soon, so it makes perfect sense to have your plans in order before you arrive.

I think that rope dropping attractions is a good idea at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, with Epcot and Magic Kingdom attractions being safe to embark on after your character breakfast.

I would opt to experience the following attractions before you have breakfast at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, mostly because it provides access to some pretty popular attractions. At Disneys Hollywood Studios, I would arrive about 30 minutes before the scheduled opening time. Once everyone in your party has scanned their MagicBands and gone through the gates at the scheduled opening time, pull up the My Disney Experience Mobile App and join the Boarding Group for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Once you have your boarding group, head to the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run attraction to get in line. Once you have finished experiencing that attraction, then have your breakfast about 90 minutes after the scheduled opening. Once your boarding group is ready, you will have time to complete your breakfast and head to Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. I recommend scheduling your FastPass+ attractions like Slinky Dog Dash or Star Tours - The Adventures Continue to begin around 11:00 AM or 12:00 PM (depending on the scheduled opening time and the wait times).

If you decide to experience attractions at Epcot and Magic Kingdom Park before you have breakfast, schedule them to start as soon as you plan to arrive. If you plan to arrive at the scheduled opening, plan your first FastPass+ selection at that time, with the others following soon after.

Please return should you have additional questions, we are happy to help!

    Have a magical day!
