Welcome to planDisney, Valaree!
I see you have an upcoming Disneyland Resort trip during the Christmas season. It truly is the most wonderful time of the year to visit Disneyland. I trust you'll have a "practically perfect" time. Make sure you
check out all there is to see and experience during the Holidays. If you like nighttime spectaculars,
World of Color - Season of Light at Disney California Adventure Park and
"Believe...In Holiday Magic" Fireworks Spectacular at Disneyland Park will make your heart merry and bright.
Speaking of nighttime spectaculars,
Fantasmic! is my absolute favorite. My family watched it a couple of times this past summer. It's so magical. The music from the show has a special place in my family's heart. I remember playing it shortly after getting back from our vacation and it literally brought tears of happiness to my young daughter's eyes.
Since Fantasmic! is so popular, securing a dining experience is really tough. Reservations become available 60 days in advance. However, these are often booked up within seconds. This can be frustrating for Guests like yourself, Valaree. Of course, you can always check in person on the day to see if there is any sudden availability. However, you'll likely have to secure a reservation online.
All hope is not lost, Valaree. I can tell you from personal experience that I was able to get a last-minute reservation for the
Fantasmic! On-the-Go Package at Hungry Bear Restaurant. We enjoyed a nice meal and (more importantly) got the best seats in the house for Fantasmic! It was one of the highlights of our trip. So let me encourage you to keep on checking, especially a day or two beforehand because you never know if availability will suddenly pop up.
Maybe that's not the exact answer you were hoping for, Valaree. However, I hope that's helpful information. I'll be wishing upon a star that you're able to secure one of those coveted experiences.
See ya real soon!
Mike
