Hi Alaysia and welcome to planDisney!
I just love being a
Florida resident and a
Walt Disney World Passholder! Since we live so close to the magic, we can just pop in the car and drive over for a day trip, weekend getaway or an extended vacation. We love to take advantage of all the perks being a Florida resident and Passholder gives us! Trips with my parents hold a special place in my heart because they have been taking me to Disneyland and Walt Disney World since I was a toddler, so it's fun to bring them with us to make new memories as adults and with my own children.
There are many different options for
Walt Disney World annual passes, but unfortunately, guest passes are not included with any of them. If your mother is also a Florida resident, she can take a look at the
current resident ticket deals like the
Florida Resident Disney Weekday Magic Tickets. These special tickets can be purchased for 2, 3 or 4 days and are valid during the weekdays only. You can use the days any time between now and December 22, 2023. Your mom can also become a Passholder herself and use the monthly payment program to make it more affordable.
Proof of Florida residency is required when purchasing tickets or booking
Disney Resort hotel rooms. If you're just looking for a
one day ticket, the price is currently the same for residents or non-residents.
There are lots of fun things to do outside of a theme park at Walt Disney World as well! Spend the day shopping and dining at
Disney Springs or take in a show at
Drawn to Life Presented by Cirque du Soleil®.
Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' is one of my favorite restaurants at Disney Springs and they serve the best southern comfort food.
Please
stop back by and visit if you have any additional vacation planning questions.
Have a magical day!
