Hello, I wanted to know if the Allstar Sports Resorts will place a hold on my credit card for incidentals and how much would that be?

    Hi Maria,

Although the Resorts suggest you leave a credit card on file, it is not necessary, but it is a nice option to have charging privileges added to your account to save having to carry cash or credit cards with you all the time. "If I can remember correctly from my last stay at the "Value" Resorts in WDW it was an amount of $500.00 that they limit you at a time (pre-authorize your credit card for) and once you have charged incidentals of this amount to your room then they would do another $500.00 "hold" and so on.

Each category of Resort in WDW has a separate limit that they pre-authorize for and are as follows: "Value"- $500.00, "Moderates"- $1000.00 and "Deluxe"- $1500.00

If you do not wish to use your credit card for incidentals but would like to have this option, you could either leave cash, debit (Visa/MC), Traveler's Checks or Disney Dollars instead and you would still have your charging privileges added to your Key to the World card.  I hope this helps!

    Happy charging,
