Hi I wanted to know if I am able to face paint my own face before I enter the park or if they will have me take it off?

Welcome to planDisney, Ariana! I’m so happy to be able to help a fellow New Yorker!

Oh boy, how exciting to be planning a visit to Walt Disney World Resort! I just got back from a stay at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, and honestly cannot wait to plan my next visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth! Although I must admit, I’m a little jealous that you’ll be there in October, which is my favorite month to visit. It is such a fabulous time to enjoy the magic and maybe a little spooky fun with Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. You’re going to have such a blast!

So, let’s get to your question, Ariana! I love that you’re looking to rock some fabulous face paint during your visit. How cool is that?! I went ahead and reached out to Guest Relations on your behalf, and they let me know that face paint is allowed for adults. In fact, there are face painting kiosks around Walt Disney World if you’re interested in having it done! However, I do want to note that there are some theme park dress and costume guidelines to consider. Disney does have the right to remove any person wearing attire, or in this case, face paint, that they deem to be inappropriate. So, I would definitely recommend looking at the guidelines before heading to the parks to make sure that you won’t have any trouble with your chosen design.

Before I go, let’s talk a bit more about Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! It’s the perfect way to enjoy some Halloween fun, Trick-or-Treating, and even fabulous shows like the Hocus Pocus Villain Spectacular. I mean, who doesn’t love Hocus Pocus, am I right?! I wanted to let you know that if you’re staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you can begin purchasing Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets starting on May 12, 2022. All other Guests may purchase tickets beginning on May 18, 2022, which will be here before you know it! These tickets do sell out early, so I definitely recommend snagging some as early as possible!

I just know you will have a fabulous time on your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World! We love to help our fellow Guests plan the most magical day possible, so please stop by again soon with any other questions you may have!

    Until next time,
