Hi, I wanted to inquire about the disneyland reservation system. When is the best time to check if openings are available? I checked all day yesterday hourly. I have a ticket but would like to use it for 4/4/2022 and need a reservation. TY for your help

    Hi Edward!

Welcome to planDisney! I'm Kristen and I'm happy to be your planEAR today!

As part of the reopening health and safety procedures put in place last yEAR, Guests must now also have Park Pass Reservations in addition to Disneyland Theme Park Admission Tickets for each of their Disney Days. Park Pass Reservations open for booking 120 days in advance, and we're also in the middle of the Spring Break rush. Sadly there isn't one specific time when reservations open up; however, the system is fluid, and as other Guests make changes or cancel their plans those who are sEARching for last-minute reservations can snap up the ones just dropped. This is very much a right-place, right-time kind of situation, but the best bet for scoring a dropped-and-snagged last-minute Park Pass Reservation is in the two days before your planned Disney Day. This is because Guests start getting emails about their upcoming plans, and those who've had things come up start canceling their reservations. Sadly there's no way to be notified when reservations become available or put on a waiting list, so your best bet is to pull up your Disneyland Mobile App and keep refreshing.

Two last Pro Tips: Guests who stay at a Disneyland Resort Hotel have access to a separate 'pool' of Park Pass Reservations, including their Check-in and Check-out days, set aside just for them. If there's something going on on the 4th that you absolutely cannot miss, it might be worth it to hashtag treat yo' self and splurge on a Disneyland Resort Hotel Room. Or, for almost the same amount as a one-night stay, you should be able to upgrade your Disneyland Theme Park Admission ticket to a Magic Key Annual Pass. The amount you already spent on the ticket will be deducted from the cost of the Key, and this will grant you access to a whole other pool of park pass reservations. And you'd also be a Magic Key member, which would mean you could celebrate 12 months of magic at the coolest club in the Kingdom!

I hope that this helped a bit, Edward! I'll keep my fingers crossed and think lots of happy thoughts that you're able to find some pixie dust and get a Park Pass Reservation for Monday!
