Hello Luke,
Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. It's wonderful to hear you're sending your parents and your children to enjoy all the magic of the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks. I can imagine they will make so many memories to cherish!
Typically, when you purchase theme park tickets, the default method of delivery is email. You would receive your email confirmation, and you would
use that email confirmation to link your tickets to your My Disney Experience account. When you arrive at a theme park, you could visit a Guest Relations window to pick up your Will Call tickets. You would need to present your confirmation email, the original payment method you used to buy the tickets (the credit card you used, for example) and a photo ID.
Depending on how you purchased the theme park tickets, you -- and your parents -- might have different options available. If you
purchased the theme park tickets as a gift for your parents and children, the steps are pretty simple. If you checked the "This order will be a gift" checkbox in the Checkout step when you purchased the tickets, you would have been prompted to enter a name for the gift receipt email. You could have then forwarded the gift receipt email you received to your parents. In this case, your parents could pick up the tickets at a Guest Relations window and they would need to show the gift receipt email and a photo ID with the name that matches the name on the gift receipt.
Luke, if you did not purchase the tickets as a gift, then are are two suggestions I can share.
One suggestion is for your parents to use the
My Disney Experience mobile app on their phone and create a Disney MagicMobile pass on their smart phone using the
Disney MagicMobile Service for
the tickets you assigned to them and your children.
Another suggestion shared with me by a Walt Disney World Resort Cast Member is for you to contact Disney Central at (407) 560-CHAT (2428) and have a note added to your order so that the team at Will Call will have the information about your parents picking up the tickets.
One additional quick tip, Luke, is to be sure to make, or have your parents make, theme park reservations using the
Disney Park Pass system. They will need to have theme park reservations for themselves and your children in addition to having the theme park admission tickets.
Here's wishing your parents and your children a wonderful visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
Jerry
