I wanted to go to Epcot on Dec 31st. I waited a day too late and now it's sold out. Is there any chance that the reservations may open up??

Hey, howdy, hey Jason, and welcome to planDisney. Making a theme park reservation can be tricky, especially during busy times of the year and December 31st is one of those times at EPCOT and Magic Kingdom Park. However, there is one great constant that makes it a bit easier and that is that people are indecisive.

I just checked the theme park reservation calendar and it shows all theme park passes available for December 31, 2023. Now that could change tomorrow and then change again the next day. My advice is to just keep checking. Theme Park Guests change their minds a lot and you will be there to scoop up the coveted EPCOT New Year's Eve theme park pass.

planDisney Pro Tip: We have been at EPCOT for New Year's a couple of times and it is a blast but the food and beverage lines are really long. If you are going to eat while there I would suggest a table service reservation inside the theme park or at one of the nearby within walking distance EPCOT Resort hotels.

Jason, I hope this information helps you ring in the New Year with some of the best fireworks at EPCOT. Please feel free to write me back directly with any follow-up questions.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
