Hello and welcome to planDisney, Tiandra! I'm so glad you've stopped by to talk about Christmas at Walt Disney World. It's one of my favorite things!
Tiandra, I think there is just so much information floating around right now, it can be hard to keep up with what is required and what isn't. And it is so different from place to place. Currently, Tiandra, there are no vaccination requirements to visit Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. This hasn't been something that Walt Disney World has implemented and I don't foresee it coming in the future. Be sure to keep an eye over on the
Disney Parks Blog for all of the
safety and health announcements that are made. They are doing a great job of keeping everyone informed. I will say, some of the safety protocols have changed over the past few months. Currently, all Guests no matter their vaccination status, are required to wear masks indoors when not actively eating or drinking. Of course, this could change by Christmastime so you'll just need to keep an eye out for updates.
Tiandra, my family and I vacation at Walt Disney World every year for Christmas. It is simply magical. I love all of the festive decorations and lights and the people - it is just so much fun. However, Christmastime is a very busy time to visit. I recommend purchasing Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets and making your park pass reservations sooner rather than later to guarantee yourself a spot in the theme parks for your trip.
Park pass reservations are basically like a virtual placeholder in line at the theme park you'd like to visit each day. This system was implemented when the theme parks reopened last year as a way to help control the number of people inside each of the theme parks.
If you have any other questions about planning a magical Christmas vacation, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me, Tiandra. I'm more than happy to help! Have a great day and happy planning!
