    Dear Esme,

Birthdays at the Disneyland Resort can be very magical.
Although guests do not get free park admission on their birthday, they can celebrate in many special ways.

For example, if you visit the Disneyland Park:
    * Pick up a complimentary birthday button at City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A. You'll receive birthday greetings all day from cast members and fellow guests.
    * Purchase a set of the iconic Mickey Ears and personalize them at Disney Showcase.
    * Ask a cast member selling Mickey balloons to let you pose with the balloons in front of Sleeping Beauty's Castle for a picture-perfect birthday memory.
    * Visit the Jolly Holiday Bakery Café for a fresh baked sweet treat to enjoy on your special day.
    * Take the front seat on the log ride at Splash Mountain for an unforgettable birthday picture!
    * Visit Mickey's House and get a special birthday hug from Mickey.
    * Enjoy a spectacular fireworks show to end a magical birthday celebration.

If you visit the Disney California Adventure Park:
    * Make reservations for lunch at Ariel's Grotto, where you can pose for pictures with Disney Princesses who will be delighted to wish you a happy birthday.
    * Sing along with the Mariachi Divas at Pacific Wharf. They often perform birthday tunes for guests.
    * Visit the Cozy Cone Motel in Cars Land for a churro cone with caramel sauce (it's your birthday...you deserve it).

    Have fun!
