Hi! We wanted to enjoy the character breakfast at the Grand Californian before going to California Adventures. Are we allowed to use the park entrance located at the resort after we eat? We have a park admission ticket. Thank you!

Hi Brittany! Welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you found us to ask this question.

The magic at The Happiest Place on Earth is truly special, and I'm so excited for you and your family to experience it soon! A Character Dining Experience is one of my favorite ways to start the day before enjoying time at the theme park. I think you'll love Mickey’s Tales of Adventure Breakfast Buffet at Storytellers Cafe! Be sure to have your camera ready for photos when Mickey and his pals stop by your table. While you won't be able to park at the hotel for the entire day, you can use the hotel entrance, just around the corner, to Disney California Adventure Park once you are finished with breakfast.

In addition to a Theme Park Ticket, each person in your travel party will also need a Theme Park Reservation. As long as you have both, you're all set to enter the theme park and let the fun begin! I recommend downloading the Disneyland Mobile App before you arrive so you can easily access your Theme Park Tickets. You can also use the app when checking in for your Advanced Dining Reservation at Storytellers Cafe.

I'm wishing you and your family a magical vacation filled with food, fun, and many special memories! If you have more planning questions before you arrive, please visit us again at planDisney. You've got a friend in us, and we would love to help!

    Happy Planning!
